To keep things running smoothly and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care, we kindly ask clients to read and follow the terms below.
A non-refundable £10 (+£2 VAT) deposit per dog is required for all new clients or returning clients after 12 months.
Deposits can be transferred to another date with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel, no-show, or give less than 24 hours' notice, your deposit is forfeited, and the appointment may be given to another client.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your appointment. Earlier arrivals may be asked to return at the booked time.
If you are 15 minutes or more late, we may not be able to complete the groom. This is at the groomer’s discretion based on the remaining time.
Please remain contactable while your dog is with us in case of emergencies or when the groom is complete. We recommend avoiding other commitments around your dog’s appointment time to ensure prompt collection.
A £5 per hour late fee may apply if your dog is not collected within 30 minutes of us notifying you, without prior arrangement or valid reason.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a minimum 50% fee will apply.
No-shows will be charged the full cost of the appointment.
Refusal to pay any cancellation or no-show fee may result in future bookings being denied.
Please ensure your dog has been toileted before drop-off, regardless of the weather.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop a groom at any time if:
After two missed or late-cancelled appointments, a client must prepay for the next appointment and pay any outstanding fees.
After three missed or late-cancelled appointments, the client will be removed from our system and no longer able to book with us.
Please treat your grooming appointment with the same importance as you would a visit to the vet, dentist, or other professional service. We appreciate your commitment.
Always inform us of any changes in your dog’s health, no matter how minor they may seem. This helps us tailor the groom to their needs.
If fleas are found on your dog, a minimum £5 treatment fee will apply. This may increase depending on the severity and extra cleaning required.
Infrequent grooming may result in higher charges, even for the same breed. Regular clients receive consistent pricing (excluding factors like matting, coat condition, or inflation).
We groom in line with the Animal Welfare Act.
If your dog arrives severely matted, we will clip the coat short or shave as needed. This is painless, allows the skin to heal, and promotes healthy coat regrowth.
Sores or redness may be found under mats and should be assessed by a vet.
Future grooms will focus on re-shaping and maintaining the coat. We're happy to advise on home care to prevent future matting.
